Custom content and mods as well as the tools are made by the sims community and are not verified by maxis or ea. after installing custom content to your game, turn on custom content in your game option in order for it to show up. it will show on the picture in the gallery but you won’t have it in your game unless you have installed. Ever since this new update came out, the custom content that i download from the gallery into my library won't download into my game. it starts to load when i place a custom house on a lot, but then it takes me to the menu where you pick which town you want to enter and doesn't download the content into the game.. If you don't, then the launcher won't let you download purchases/ stuff from the exhange. message 3 of 11 (2,864 views) reply. 0 re: won't install my custom content. so if anyone has had this problem before with not being able to download custom content, or knows of a solution whether it involves a clean boot or a different one i'm willing.
Hi, i have downloaded some custom content for the sims 2 (mac) but it won't install. i double click on the .package file but all that happens is the package installer. Custom content won't install i have tried for ages to install cc (about 3 months) and it isn't working i finnaly figured it out by downloading a couple hairs, one at a time, and it worked but then i found a whole bunch of stuff i wanted and now it wont work please help me.
